Outreach Ministries

Outreach Ministries at St. Andrew are performed in many ways.  These include our annual Christmas Basket program (see below), Weekly Snack Bags where our church provides 100 Snack Bags to local schools, LOGOS1 Childrens Program, 4th of July Free Community Breakfast, Prayer Pillow Ministry, Special Needs Adult Program (SNAP), Wonderful Wednesday Meals and Classes, Cub and Boy Scouts program and more.
Kroger Community Rewards Program
Our church is now enrolled in the Kroger Community Rewards Program.  This program allows our church members to link their Kroger Rewards Card to the St. Andrew Community Rewards Number.  Once that is done, the church will earn money from Kroger for each purchase made.  There is no impact on your shopping or your individual rewards, it is just a program that Kroger promotes to "give back" to the community by rewarding them each quarter with a check to reflect the purchases made by members.  To learn more about how your purchases at Krogers can help earn extra money for our church, please click here
Christmas Basket Outreach
Though COVID restrictions prevented our 2020 Christmas Basket Outreach to include as many families as previously, our church still was able to provide Christmas Baskets to over 30 families.  Each family was adopted by a St. Andrew family, who provided many perishable as well as non-perishable items.
Below are pictures of our 2019 Christmas Basket Outreach.  This outreach program allows our entire church congregation to participate in this ministry with a great team effort.  Through our congregations generous donations of food, money and time, our church was able to feed over 60 families at Christmas 2019, which was made up of over 225 adults and children.  Each family received three boxes of food along with many last minute items including fresh fruit, dairy, ham, turkey, potatoes, onions, bread and many other items.  Again this year, the local St. Albans Kroger played a huge part in this program by supporting our church and supplying many items including all of the last minute ones at a huge discount.  If you are in Krogers, be sure to thank Joel Weese, the Manager of Krogers, and his staff for their continued support to our churches outreach programs.
