Open Hearts, Open Minds, Open Doors

Rev. Jonathan Dierdorff

Jonathan sensed God’s call to ministry during his senior year of high school. After completing his undergraduate degree in theology, Jonathan earned an M.A. in Biblical Studies and a Master of Divinity degree from Asbury Theological Seminary.

Before coming to St. Andrew, Jonathan served on staff at Forrest Burdette Memorial UMC in Hurricane, WV from 2008-2011 as youth pastor, and as student associate pastor from 2011-2015 while attending seminary. In 2015 Jonathan was appointed to serve as pastor of the Meadow River Charge in western Greenbrier County, until his arrival at St. Andrew in July of 2019.

Jonathan serves on the WV Annual Conference Board of Ordained Ministry, helps teach at the Pastoral Ministry Licensing School, and has recently published a Lenten Devotional in the Seeds of Hope series entitled, “Where Faithfulness Grows.”

In addition to reading, writing, and playing guitar, Jonathan enjoys spending time with his wife, Alisha, and their two children, Carter and Emma. Pastor Jonathan can be reached at:
